F40 waste tank location

Hello all
I Have an 1981 f40 and I am replacing the heads and waste tank. Would like to know the original location of the waste tank. The one I have now is under the forward bunk. I believe it is a new location since it is higher then both heads. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
