I use BoatUS for the towing. I think its 53.00 a year for unlimted towing. Some places on lake erie will do 50 miles and others will do 25 miles of shore. I think they require you to be towed back to their marina though???? Correct me if im wrong. or will they drop you off at your own marina as long...

ok good.. it didnt come out all the way ... it could not because the rudder hit the gravel. so it only slid up and down. actually if i wanted to get it all the way out i'd have to hoist the back end up about another 10 inches probably.

I can just put the stem back on and tighten the nut and be on my way? Basically im worried if the fact that I let t...

Recommended spark plugs for a 1978 F-25 W/ a single 318.

Were up here in lake erie. Not sure if the fact that its very cool water will make a difference but thought i would mention it. Just curious what type of plugs we should run on this? We bought plugs last season and went off what plugs the recommended for that year in a chrysler auto and never put th...

well i already removed the arm and the rudder slid down into the gravel. Will the fact that i let the shaft slide up and down like that affect the packing or should i just bolt it all back up and tighten it down? I ran out of time while out there so basically all i did was take the arm that hooks up...

Going to repack the rudder stuffing box. Need advice.

I going to take the cross board that the shaft goes through out so that way i can get at the bolts better and should be able to just put the stuffing right in the nut by hand so it will make staggering it very easy. will this work or should i leave everything in and do it w/ everythins together? wou...

Need new wipers. 1978 F-25

Went to West Marine. I hate West Marine by the way..... They were like 20-26 bucks a piece!!!!. And the fittings didnt even look like they would fit the arms on my wipers. Wondering where a good place to get them is and is automotive an option? The arms are a lot wider on automotive im thinking so a...

love your boat ready123 by the way. The lines on it are great. Love that swoop upward between the windows and the deck.
