it does have the caps on the end. I was looking at them on lencos website and saw the zincs. Definately a good idea to replace regularly.

Ok, i found some corroded wires on a big capacitor, repaired it and found a smaller capacitor in very poor shape, outside case missing, corroded, i was able to fire up for a split second and the compressor kicked right on, but the smaller capacitor was smoking, it is trashed. My unit is a WFAH12, wh...

heat exchanger leaking - can it be repaired ?

So my port engine overheated over the weekend, we put a pressure tester on it and it is bleeding coolant into the raw water through the heat exchanger. I have a local radiator shop that welds radiators, but have yet to call about a heat exchanger, does anyone have any insight on this ? Can they be r...

Cruise Air

One of my cruise air units is having issues. It was working at first, but only blew cold for a little bit. Now when it turns on it draws a ton of amps, then finnally clicks and stops humming. My ac guy said they could have a bad ignitor. Does anyone have any info on this ?

thanks.

Hey thanks for the info, I found out they are not fuel cut off switches at all, they are flotech fuel sensors for the GPH meter in the flybridge. Man are they expensive (210 each) i found a guy with a set on ebay for alot cheaper though. Hopefully the guage works.

Electric Fuel Cut off valve ?

Right before my fuel pumps there is a solonoid/valve that has 12 volts going to it. It seems to be an electronic cut off valve, it is not working and will not allow any fuel to pass through the valve, it has power and ground. Are these required for safety ? I tried to google some different key words...

I just had all the old stuff sucked out of my boat. There is a company in town called gentry oil. They sell the marine grade non-ethanol fuel. I had to remove all 4 sending units, then they came and sucked the old stuff out and filled it up. Hopefully going in the water in the next few weeks.
