Re: Velvet Drive 71C slip in fwd below 1200 rpm

Interesting, I have seen the "in and out of gear" but it was due to low fluid level. I would assume it would not go away at high rpm but did not try. Have you checked the transmission temperature with a temperature gun? If its a lot higher, check the temperature of the fluid hoses going in...

Re: Velvet Drive 71C slip in fwd below 1200 rpm

Slip below 1200? Does it suddenly engage when you are above? I would get a photo tach and compare the engine speed with the prop shaft speed. Make sure you us it on both the engine and the shaft, don't trust the dash tach.

I'm just wondering if it's something on the prop?

Are you looking for a new AC? Have you had your old system checked?

Re: F32 318 Exhaust hose

I really can't give you an answer as there are more than one F32 model and different engines too. Also, no telling what may have been changed. So a tape measure is the way to go. You may want to use Fiberglass exhaust tubing for the long runs.

Re: Need unbiased opinions on Trojan boats

Just got my 1994 37’ Trojan cruiser last summer and me and my wife love it. Any ideas on boat name placement I thought this was an odd question until I saw the stern design. 2 ideas come to mind, One is to put the name above the fender holder, Another is to put a plack on the Fender holder. Of cour...

Re: Trojan international 12 meter prop questions

Where to start? Do you have the rpm rating for your engines? I am thinking 3800 rpm? If this is true 1.23 gears is a very poor choice, should be closer to 2 to 1. Second, the props look like crap, Looks like a lot of pitch was taken out to make up for the trans ratio. It does not look like 24" ...
