Any suggestions on a replacement gen set for a 1981 F32. It has original Onan gas 6.5

Need to replace 4inch exhaust hose on F 32, Any idea how long of hose needed for each engine??

I have a 1981 F32 with 318 raw water cooled engines. Searching for 140 degree thermostats which are impossible to locate., Due I run them without a thermostat? I see they still manufacture a 160 degree thermostat but think engines will run too hot.
Any ideas or suggestions

Meant to say on earlier post nobody wants to work on gas

Motors were always serviced yearly
Now around here all want to work gas

Anybody in Boston area that knows a mechanic to work on 318s? Everybody I contact said too old or don't work on gas engines. Both motors in good condition

My lower station starboard throttle is very stiff to move forward and needs a hard push to get it moving??? What replacement has anybody used? Any ideas? Its a double station

Yes meant 1981 F32. My steering is Syten system with a leaking top side helm. Bottom station works

last time had it running, it was not pumping water well. I had change the impeller the year before and did notice water pumping was very dark, Thats all I remember about last time used. I know the parts are expensive so dont know what I am getting into

Did you check your raw water transmission cooler.. Could be blocked with debris from intake

I agree better to buy a fram or other quality filters and not from Walmart. I believe there are different qualities sold at discount stores. Just like tools. The same tool you buy at Home depot is a different quality than same tool at a retail store. Not worth the dollar or two you save upfront
