In today’s world, vacuum cleaners are used widely in modern households. There is the opinion that any vacuum type can be used to clean wooden floors properly. This is not correct. Even if you own one of the top rated vacuum cleaners, it may not be 100% appropriate for your wooden floors.

To choose the best one, here are a few descriptions and tips for you to consider:

Types of vacuums for wooden floors, and the advantages/disadvantages of each type

Canister vacuums

Canister vacuums are designed to clean surfaces like hard floors, stairs, and carpets. Although there are differences between a canister vacuum and an upright vacuum, they have some similarities in the general use, which is mainly to clean the hardwood floor.

  • Easy to use for adults and children
  • Quieter than upright vacuums

Disadvantages

  • Not suitable for disabled persons
Robot vacuums

A robot vacuum is a device that requires the least human input to clean different surfaces, including the hardwood floor. Unlike the canister and upright vacuums, robotic ones can automatically perform their work without needing to install an extended hose.

Advantages
  • Good option for wooden floors
  • Lightweight
  • Move or store easily
  • Easy to use for everyone. Smart solution for the elderly and people with disabled issues
  • Portable
  • No need for an extended hose
  • Self-recharging
Disadvantages
  • Tend to be the most expensive than the other kinds of vacuum cleaners
  • In some cases, the robot vacuums fail to find the way to the docking station (for self-recharge)
  • Short battery life
Upright vacuums

If you are looking for a cleaner that works effectively for wooden floors, an upright vacuum is for you. In comparison to other types of vacuums, this is heavier and not convenient to move or store anywhere. Nevertheless, upright vacuums are always listed in the Best Rated Vacuum Cleaners Brands, according to consumer buying behavior reviews.

Advantages
  • Good option for wooden floors
  • Easy to use for adults and children
  • Tend to be less expensive than canister vacuum cleaners
Disadvantages
  • Heavy

A lot has been posted on flybridgw removal on F32 and F36s some of that may be helpful. Label everything.

Hopefully, someone will chime in that has done a 10 meter. Is this a sedan or aft cabin with a fly?
