My Grandfather owned a Trojan boat in the early/mid 1960s. I recently found pictures of it (Pics taken at at Bayreuther's boatyard in Niantic, CT )
It's a Trojan - year I think 1959(?), not positive. I hope to find the paperwork one of these days. I seem to recall someone saying it was used as the New London (CT) Police boat for a while. I might call the NL marine patrol and see if they might have records of the boats they used.
I think it is a 1959 Trojan Sea Breeze Express Cruiser 23 (inboard) - but would like to be sure - can someone help me out?

Have you tried the gang at "Fiberglassics" yet? They are rabid collectors and can identify anything. Even though it's for rare, antique fiberglass boats, there is a blog for wood boats:
