I assume you have a single combo lamp ? I would change to 2 separate side lamps . If this is your 32 Trojan your should see where they were , as Trojan can from the factory with 2 side lamps not a combo uint

Re: SPOT LIGHTS
Considering the wiring is already in the area, add a small platform on top of the bow rail and mount it there (at the very front tip). If practical and accessible underneath, running the wire through the bottom of a rail stanchion and through the rail up to the light makes for a neater install.lasker wrote:SPOT LIGHT ....MAYBE SET BACK OR RUN UP THE RAILINGBig D wrote:Are you talking about nav light or spot light?

Don't know which unit you have but to do as I suggested, you will most likely have to cut off the plug at the end of the cable to fishe it through the tubing. This is perfectly okay as long as you put it back together properly. Use shrink tubing with the adhesive lining. This will seal the connection so no water gets in and corrodes the wiring. Also ensure that you caulk the hole around the wire completely where it goes through the deck and into the stanchion prior to fastening the stanchion back on. Caulk all the stanchion screw holes also.
