13 Meter MPG-NPG
Hoping if there is anyone out there who may have some knowledge for the fuel consumption for a 13 Meter Express with the DD-671t. Saw a review with some numbers for the 692s. Seemed high. Interested if anyone has real numbers for the smaller motors, both cruise and hull speed. Floscan?

Depending how you run it I would say .5-6 mpg baby it and mix in some hull speed running you may get up to .7 mpg . The fuel burn of the 671 and the 6v92s would be about the same at the same speed no real difference other then your carry a little extra weight with the 92s . Where the 6V92 will burn more is when you start running faster then the same boat with 671s .
At say 20 knots both engine will burn the same as it takes the HP and there by the same amount of fuel to push the boat 20 knots

Can't help on the 13 meter, however keep watching on my 10 meter (shares the same Deltaconic hull design) with Yanmar 6 cylinder turbodiesels as soon as the final calibration comes back on the floscans, and we dial in the props.
Last run to Key West fully loaded with 8 adults on board was 1.29 @ 21 kts based on GPS nautical miles and actual fillup to fill up.

Re: 13 Meter MPG-NPG
I would bet the 13 meter is close to 2x the weight of the 10, they are one large boat and the DD 2 strokes burn more fuel then 4 stroke yanmars or cummins per hp . Just the nature of the beast .

Thanks for the responses. I am aware of all the things that can and do effect your fuel burn (seas, dirty bottom, props etc) . Just curious, I ran a 42 Post (no tower) for a couple years with 971N and could run 18kts and get 1ktpg, 3ktpg trolling. The weights are close, the Post mat be a bit heavier. Is it hull design?

Re: 13 Meter MPG-MPG
The 42 post is a easier hull to push at speed as it is pretty flat at the stern . The 671N is only about 300hp max . the 671TA or TIB in the 13 meter is 450 or 485 hp . I know the 43 post w the 450hp wont get close to 1mpg @ cruse ( a friend had one w/tower ) Of course the 43 is a heavier boat . I almost bought a 42 a few years back .
Hopefully Doug will post his numbers

Re: 13 Meter MPG-NPG
I don't have any actual real world numbers unfortunately.
I only filled up my tank once, @ 520 gallons I had no need to haul all that extra fuel with the day trips I was doing.
Later this summer I will definitely have more accurate numbers.
That being said, this is what I found in my manual:
