Trouble locating rocker switches (400 Express)

Post by waterboy222 »

I just purchased a 1998 400 Express and will be replacing the dash panels soon. They have faded and turned chalky and brittle, along with the switches. I would like to replace these with the correct ones but I can't seem to locate them anywhere. Does anyone have information on these or where they can be sourced? I have to figure out what the switches go to because a few of them are missing the name plate as well.

Thanks!

They look like standard snap in rocker switches, why not just replace them with newer switches and label. Most likely you won't find the exact same ones.

I haven't been able to find any that match.. With the way that the label is placed above the switches, it makes for a really tall hole in the dash and none of the rockers Ive found will fit without leaving a gap at the top. Id really like to find *these* switches so I wont have to have a new panel cut to match.

there a number of suppliers of ready made switch panels, switches installed fused etc. I doubt you can find the exact ones you have, the panel looks pretty weathered, IMO just build another cover panel for new switches.
