Greetings, back into the Trogan family again,my last project was a 1968 40' but by the time I finished it somebody fell in love and offered a price I could not refuse so I never even got the chance for a cruise.

This one is a 1979 F30 flybridge with twin 351s,most I have seen were 318 Chrysler.Showing 430 and 620 hours anybody's guess if that is correct.
It was salt water use and been sitting up for about 5 years, engines turned by hand but the exhaust system is in pieces rusted through.

The PO ran it up on the trailer and shaved the props into the trailer runners so they may be bent just a bit.

The bulkhead from the flybridge to the deck was wood verses the sliding glass door and they had cut a hole out for a window a/c but never installed a condensation drain, one can kinda figure out what happened next,so you have to not use the step going down into the cabin.Which is okay considering the door hinges are broke and the flybridge is leaning, which makes the step a moot point.

I read the archives here and based on the postings found the couple of rotted stringers right where you guys said they were and the rotted deck from water leakage from the flybridge holes, this one never had the lower console from what I can tell anyways.

So it is considered a project I guess, but I like to know what I have when it is done and I have the equipment and knowledge or combined knowledge of what I do not.At least I do not have to spend hundreds of hours replacing side planks.

I am going to use it for coastal cruising and a spot 20 miles out in the gulf on a clear day fishing,so pretty much what it was built for.Keeping it in a close by slip for sneaking off at a moments notice.

We are bringing it to my shop on sat so I will snap some pictures, funny thing is I looked all across the state for one and ending up finding it 2 blocks away hidden in a back yard for $1500 so I guess it leaves me a tiny bit of breathing room,if I do not count my labor.

Thanks everybody for the past input and suggestions in the archives it does help alot.
