vibation port side on F32

Post by captron »

I have a vibration starboard side when transmission is in gear and starts at about 1800rpm's. I have anew coupler, shaft, strut bearing, prop's where sent out to be repaired and balanced. I did hit the starboard prop ( not bad ) it all started after that. The hit came about from the starboard transmission cable broke. Wind caught the bow and turn me backwards into shore and hit a rock. The engines where turn off be for I hit. any ideas would be greatly appreciated ..thanks

Well if it started after you hit something its probably a prop or shaft. Disconnect the shaft and put the engine in gear see if you have any vibrations. If not its the shaft or prop.

I had a lot of vibration until I had my prop reconditioned. After having the prop reconditioned its very smooth. Most likely the prop needs to be redone.
