Looks like you have a paragon Gear box.

When you unbolt the drive shaft and the bolts from the trany (and the water lines) the gearbox will slide off. It is very heavy and hard to handle especially in the position you will be in. But no oil will run out - maybe a tad where the shaft goes. There's a drive shaft from the tran to the gearbox that will prob slide out, too. There are also spacer/washers inside the tranny and between the gearbox and tranny that will fall out. Pay attention to where they go. When putting it together you've got to realign washer inside the trans and its a pain, too. I used a long screwdriver and wheelbearing grease to stick them in place while assembling them. To take the gearbox out, I put a 2x4 across the cabin opening and hung a small hoist from it to the gearbox to help with the weight. The u-joints are old style chevy u-joint you can find at any parts store. I've got the break down on the gear box somewhere if you need it. There is a front seal in the extension housing that is a pain to install. I ruined one and ended up carrying mine to machine shop and having it installed. Cost me $6, wish I had did that first.
