Trojan F30 Renault Turbo Diesels

Hello to all. I am new to this sight and new to the owning of a 1979 Trojan F30. Patio rear door. Flybridge Controls. Boat has been in dry storage in South Florida for over a year. Interior needs updating for sure but there doesn't seem to be any water damage from above or below. Spent a few hours examining the boat. No external damage on the hull, or deck surfaces.
This boat is equipped with twin Renault Four Cylinder Turbo Diesel Engines. Financials have not yet been finalized due not hearing the engines run, which should take place this coming weekend- 5/6, 5/7/17.
I would be very appreciative to hear any comments or advise about the Powertrain's. I've painted automotive, cycles, boats, and aircraft for a few decades. Born with wrenches in my hands and can fabricate most things made from metals, fiberglass, and wood. Haven't been frightened off anything yet... but these Renaults have me feeling a bit queasy.
Thank You,
