Transducer permanently in the hull?

This resembles a transducer but the connection is VGA? Can it be converted to standard multi wire or do I need to somehow replace the whole thing? Pictures of the connection and the unit because maybe it's not what I think it is.

That is a RCA connector, not a VGA. Some older Airmar transducers used this connector.
May be this:

Sorry RCA I blanked thank you... at least it is a transducer then? Maybe I can make it work? Google told me how to separate the wires and connect it to a newer depth gauge. Now does anyone have a picture of where they mounted a newer back of the boat transducer on a 25' the space between the trim tabs is the tunnel for the prop so not flat.

Based on the "wings" I think it may be a Datamarine 200kz unit. Not sure it would work with a modern chartplotter, but that may be a place to start your digging.
