With my goal to simply my engine compartment, I want to remove the battery joiner in my 1977 F30 Express Cruiser with twin 318 engines...

Does anyone have a writing diagram for this devise that sits between the 2 engines?
Has anyone removed theirs and can offer some tips?

I have a big bank of house batteries, and can use that if i ever had too, and am also on a fairly small lake with 2 engines, so not worries about its removal ;-)

Thanks!

The diagram should be in your manual , if you don't have one beacon sells them . Its a pretty simple system . You have 2 power wires ( one from each battery bank ) going into your switch with one going to your relay/solenoid the "jumps" the batteries . There is a wire from each ignition tht goes to a diode and the to the relay so when you crank your using both batteries .

info on the diode

Great!!
Thanks for the thoughts!

I took my starter of the other day, and did not see the solenoid ... is it part of the battery combiner?
So if i want to remove Emergency combiner, I need to get a solenoid and hook that up?

Thanks!
