1979 trojan f26

So i just bought this boat originally had that 318 the guy took it out and put a brand new 350 Crusader in it but didn't finish hooking it up..my question is I'm trying to hook up the water did the 318 come with a raw water pump or how did that work

Yes it did . All marine engines installed in Trojans had a raw water pump . Do you have a photo of the set up you have now ? There should be a raw water inlet with a valve in the engine area .

I merged the 2 together so you can see the photo . And the 318 did have a raw water pump .

I’ve got a ‘77 F26 HT with the original Chrysler 318 and it has a raw water inlet on the port side of the engine room floor and the pump on the port side of the engine. Should be able to do the same with the Crusader.
