F36 1971

Post by Rodman »

Hi guys , I wanted to invite myself over here to your site. I just bought my second Trojan. Its a 1971 F36. I picked it up today. I will post some photos tomorrow. I am in Orlando FL, I wonder how many people have Trojans in Fl? I was thinking of starting a Trojan Club here. Let me know about your thoughts on that.

Welcome to the Trojan Boat Owners Forum. Glad to have you aboard. Love your F25, and can't wait to see photos of your F36. Those are such big, roomy boats. I am in Orange Park, near Jacksonville Florida. We should get together sometime for an overnighter. Maybe Silver Glenn Springs?

Thanks everyone, I spent better part of the day today cleaning it. The guy had it parked under some Oaks. The Trojans are truly wonderful boats. I have love for these older boats. I feel there very classy looking. I also have Sunbird ( Neptune 202 ) with small cud y. It`s no Trojan, but I do enjoy taking it out also. The F25 is in need of some cosmetic repair. The interior is in ruff shape. But on the other hand, F36 is very nice shape. I can not wait till it warms up so I can take her out. I am thinking I will take it too St. Johns River for her first test run. May take Sunbird also incase there are any problems. I do not see any but to be safe. Anyway I am going to try start Trojan Club here in Florida maybe we can have some rendezvous here.

I do not know who that is, But looks like that is who owned her at some point. I am just happy to have it. Its been a nice day so I have had time to go through it. It appears I will need a throttle cable That is about it. She runs good. I did notice the dip stick was broke. I am going to further investigate make sure its not in the motor.

I am in deland, FL, my F36 is currently in my backyard. Trying to get trannys redone. But she will be floating in ponce inlet soon for offshore fishing. I would love to meet, but i dont think silver glenn would be an option as my boat is not trailerable.

my F36, i have one tranny rebuilt, trying to find parts for the other. It just got a new grey bootstripe, new 4' swimdeck, new bottom paint and some new goods on the inside. Trying to get setup for offshore fishing.
