mid cabin storage - extra space

If you guys are looking for more storage, I found a few good spots in my travels:
1) When I re-bed the starboard stanchions, I noticed that there was a lot of dead space behind the medicine cabinet above the head sink. I cut the backing piece and installed it on an angle, farther back. It almost doubled the space.
2) Access panel inside the cabin, behind the helm. This is usually screwed in place. Lots of room back there. I just hinged it and added a catch to keep it closed. Makes getting to the wiring a lot easier too.
3) Under the "L" dinette seating. Install an access door underneath (across from the head sliding door). Pop out the insert under the cushion and see how much room you can pick up.
4) Under the trash can in the galley. There's about a foot under the plastic can for stuff you don't need to get all the time.
5) Mid cabin lockers, up HIGH. I installed "L" shaped metal brackets to the rub rail mounting threads which you can see from the inside. I used a couple of washers and a nut for each one. For my extra hose, I bungee cord it in place and they're up and out of the way.
6) Haven't done this yet but noticed a lot of dead space at the transom, up high. I might 5200 a piece of plywood on each side and hang stuff on it.
