Swim platform brackets

I have a1989 10.8 meter international and was hoping someone knew if the brackets for the swim platform would be a true 90 degree.
They APPEAR to be so on my 1983 10 Meter.
I found a couple of stress cracks on the welds when I had my swim platform off in 2002.
Had them welded and even though they were fine, replaced the wooden backing plates with starboard.
I also wired each bracket to the bonding system.
