F-36 tri cabin on ebay

I don't think he wants one with the V-drive set up or a tri-fly. It did look like a Good deal

Nice looking boat - someone got a GREAT deal.

i just saw this and while i'm not exactly fond of the tri fly, she looks good. i also see that they removed the lower helm station on this one.
hopefully she will survey well. if you can even do a survey on a boat bought on ebay.

I'm thinking I might want to go to a tri-fly one of these days since it would give me room to do some trolling. The early model tri-cabins had that lower deck but mine doesn't and I miss trolling for salmon and steelhead.

Here's a possible compromise for you that was talked about on the forum a few months back... a 'Custom' based on a 36 tri cabin hull, with custom superstructure and interior layout. It has an actual cockpit (not showing in any of these pics though) that is deep, but maybe only 3-4 feet long. The boat is still available.

Wow!!!!! That is a great deal if it's as good as listed. I would have bought it to remodel and make a killer profit.

That is the first I've seen that and it looks totally custom on the inside and out but looks really good. If it was a custom order from a buyer I can understand why there are no others like it. According to Aaron, his family went to the factory and actually got to see their Trojan being built and made some mods on the fly. Perhaps there was a time when Trojan accepted custom orders similar to what a custom yacht builder does.

So you're saying someone bought a standard tri-cabin and totally customized it? Wow - that was an amazing undertaking. Looks good though. Can't imagine how much that would cost. I have no skills in that area so I would have to hire it all done.

It was an empty (unfinished) hull sitting on the property when Trojan shut down their manufacturing plant. They got as far as moulding the hull but that's it. Someone bought what was there and did the rest of it themselves. The people who own it now are not the original owners, but absolutely love the boat. It is on Lake Ontario, and one of their favourite destinations has always been the Trent Severn Waterway.
