Just made the deal for a 1975 F-36 with dual 440's. Check and Title exchange tomorrow at 5:00! Survey revealed the need for a starboard impeller, batteries on the generator and not all of the gauges work(but between the two sets you can get all of the info). A lot of elbow grease and upgrades for both interior and exterior are next and hopefully I can do most of it before Spring. Now I need to track down an owners manual and get to work! Hopefully I won't bother everyone with too many questions.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new purchase.
Bob at Beacon Marine that hosts this forum has owner's manuals that you can buy. We would love to see some photos if you will post some.

Slip is in Choptank, MD. Off the Chesapeake about 45 minutes east at 25 knots. Currently also have a 20 foot Proline center console in the marina so this is a big upgrade. Nervous about the bigger boat but it's gonna be great for overnights and small craft advisories.

btw .... last Saturday morning was on the Choptank. What a time of the year to have her out there reeling them in. It was a great day. Nice place for a slip

Congrats
If possible, on you "maiden cruise", avoid as many mudbanks as possible. Your's will be the second one this week. Great boat.

Oh I will certainly keep her in the deep end of the pool until I get used to it. It is a great time to be out there and upgrading from the 20 footer will probably triple the days I can get out. The boat will be named "Irish Wake" once we finish the renaming ceremony.

My very good friend's F36 a few slips down, is named "Irish Wake".
You must drink...
