Saturday was rough. Very rough and windy, swells, white caps, spray...but we managed two fish. Eating size, no placing.
Sunday, rougher, mananged only one keeper at 24, fat but no placing.
I help chair this tournament, so my goal is to help organize and host a great event. All participants, (50 anglers) had fun. Not many large fish with the largest at 10.8 wich won my friend 5,000.00 for first place.
All in all, a great weekend.
Below are a few pics from my cell.
Sunrise behind me on a chilly morning.
My crew setting up lines, we ran 16 this day off planer boards.
Some white caps and rough water.
My friend Charlie taking the helm for a few while I take a break.
Yesterday's lone fish.

Looks like an Awesome day. I would rather be doing that in those conditions than working any day of the week. Where were you fishing?
Maybe next year I could enter.

Ron, we're 38 miles up the Potomac, from the bay. Come on up!
And yes, better than ANY work day!

Thanks for the photos - looks like a good day fishing. Wish I were nearby to get into some contests like that.

Yep, always like the photo's. Looks like everyone had a hard day fishing in the conditions that were there. I am looking forward to fishing for Striper on my sons boat. I have been out on my Mckee and have not caught a think. I know why and will correct it this next time out. I had my bait on the top and the fish were 15 feet down. I was out only two hours and had diner to attend so I did not mess with changing the bait. I enjoyed the time anyway.

Looks like you still had fun. And yes it's still rough on the bay. And any day on the boat is better than work. Even if work keeps callin.
