Moving F36 by truck (photos now included)

Boat is ready and I am looking for a transporter.

The boat is in the central part of North Carolina and needs to move 30 miles to a shop for new driveline, interior and paint.

Current quotes are all over the board.
I am hoping to find a hauler moving through NC without a load that would stop long enough to move the boat.
Would make that long empty ride home a little easier on the budget.
I have four yardarms and loading is not and issue.

Hoping someone here can give me a lead on someone they have done work with in the past.

Thanks,
SRD

I used Deepwater for my move from FL to VA. They're in NC...Ask them for a return pick-up haul.

Bridge, arch and all things above top of cabin have been removed and transported already to new location.

Boat is on the hard now and will be on the hard for chop cut rebuild.

Posted on U ship with little response.

Will be putting up flyers at the major truck stops within 30 mile radius...grabbing at straws!

I could get it move the 4 hours to the coast cheaper it seems.

let me get it done and will spill the beans...

Almost struck a deal with Bubbie Crown of Crown Marine in Deltaville Va
He was coming to Clarksville VA to pick up a sailboat and tried hard to work with me, but we could get the schedule to work.
Bubbie is one of my clients in the marine industry and I would have loved to work with him.

Also had good quote from Paul Welles who operates out of Oriental NC...Triton Marine Transport.

It is done!

Boat is now at my shop.
Ended up using American Marine in Denver NC.
Great price, showed up on time and honored their quote which was very competitive.

I have four Yard Arms to make the job a little easier...If you are not aware of this great jacking system check them out on-line. Very simple to use and heavy duty...four of them can lift a 40,000lbs boat with ease.

Now starts the fun...chop cut rebuilding!

Thanks for your interest in this post and your input as well,

great pictures, the boat looks pretty good without the bridge, it has the new style "pilot boat" look, like the navigator, GB, etc.
