and yet another stupid and redundant question,,,,,

almost sea worthy, and going to hook up the flange from the prop shaft this weekend to the v drive
just to clarify, as I am going to motor the boat to a nearby marina to have the bottom scraped and painted, ,,,
Under the boat,, the prop shaft passes through a cutlass bearing,, then through the hull to the stuffing box, and then to the v drive
just making sure there are no other support areas, such as bushing etc, as most of you know this was a project boat, and its down to the wire. I assembled most items in the water, I went under the boat and pushed the prop shaft up to meet the back of the v drive, as the boat was re powered prior to my getting it.
the reason I keep asking is it seems strange that that there is nothing else supporting the prop shaft besides the cutlass and the back of the v drive flange,
