Canadian Compliance Notice

Hi folks, and a question particularly for Canadians - especially those who have imported a boat.

Did Trojans come with a Canadian Compliance notice (CG issued) or not? My reading of the regulation is that imported for personal use makes the boat likely exempt for the notice requirement but there are so many elastic clauses that I'm not certain.

Can anyone provide their experience as I'm just filling out CA registration papers now

Not required on older boats.
Just do the federal boat license route and pay your HST... which should have been collected on importation at the border.
Are you doing federal registration by boat name or provincial license number?

None... Only really useful if owned by a business.
