Engine paint

I'm thinking of touching up my M400 engine and velvet drive. This is for my 73 Chrysler Marine (in my Tri cabin). I tried to buy touch up paint thru Marysville, but they only have a medium blue and no longer sell the lighter blue.

The only lighter blue engine paint I could find at the auto store was Pontiac engine blue. Since I know I don't have a Pontiac engine, I couldn't see buying it.

Any one know where to get the correct color paint? I want it to look nice and a well matched paint makes all the difference.

I like the look and longevity of Plastikote engine enamels. I'm sure it's available in the color you're looking for and you should be able to get it thru any Car Quest store.

+1 Paul

A lot of guys use the deeper GM or Chevy blues.

Read the instructions carefully, and follow re-coat recommendations to avoid flaking.
