77 Tri cabin fwd bilge pump location

77 tri cabin-Where is the fwd bilge pump? I found the aft bilge pump. I took up the fwd bed cushions and wood supports but did not find it under there.

Hey Ken,
On my '79 the forward bilge pump is found under the floor area, directly in front of the drawers in the middle of the v-berth. If you pull the carpet back, right in front of the forward heater, you will find it there, I think...unless a '77 is alot different than a '79.

if you look in your v-berth locker or the hanging locker on the starboard side, fwd stateroom, you should see the pump discharge hose. follow the hose to the pump. on my tri, a 1982 model, the pump is right under the cabin sole between the steps and the fwd head door. i made an access hatch because the PO covered it up with carpet 
. now, on my folks 1972 tri, the pump was in the fwd cabin, between the v-berth. and yes, dad also had a hatch made for gaining access to the pump. so look around. you will find it. and let us know.
