for those of you that have canvas that covers your windshield do you install snaps on the fiberglass or are they installed on the metal framework that holds the glass?

Fiberglass on mine.

Uper snaps are in to the frame on mine and I belive the lower snaps are in to the f glass .

This is a old photo all the canvas has been changed along with a lot more .

I have a cover made of grey Sunbrella. The bottom is snapped to the fiberglass all around. The top edge is snapped along the sides into the frame and the front is held in place with Velcro strips along the top of the frame.

thanks guys. figured I'd ask the question before my canvas guy shows up and starts drilling where I wouldn't want them. says he'll have it done in another week , will get some pics in here then.

Mine has elastic on the top seam with the studs at top outside corners into fibreglass... the bottom is held into the fibreglass.
