fron seneca lake to oswego to the genes river with the F36

The trip took two days and it was beautiful.We stayed overnight at baldwinsville where they had dockside water and electricity.
$5 charge-just put it in and envelope and into a drop box with your boat number.We were up at 4:30 AM and went to a 24 hr diner on genesee street.
1950's style diner with red seats and chromed edging on the tables. Great food.
Going through the locks the first day was a piece of cake but the second day was a little rough.
The wind was so bad there were white caps on the river and when you pulled into a couple of the locks you had to have a strong grip to hold her steady.
The lock man said from seneca lake to oswego was about 110 kilometers.
Most of the way was 5 MPH as there was a no Wake in force most of the way. Anywhere there was a boat or dock you had to slow down. I went 7MPH most of the way as the F36 at 12 MPH put waves over the shore. Smaller boats could go 30MPH in some areas.
I filled up at seneca lake and when I got to the Port of Oswego where it meets Lake ontario I filled up again and it took 56 gallons.
I headed west on the lake and kept an eye on the weather as the boat came with a Garmin GDL 30/30 weather satellite receiver and a garmin 3006 at the upper helm and a garmin 3210 at the lower station. Everything worked beautiful.
Rpm was 2600 to 2800 all the way---19 to 21 mph. I pushed her up to 3100 and was going 28MPH but when I went up to 3200 I thought I felt some vibration coming from the starboard engine side so I backed off and went 21 mph all the way which took about three hrs to go the 60 miles.Even at 3100 I still had room to push her faster but I didn't want to strain these old engines. All I can say is these 440 engines might burn some gas but they are smooth running and pushing this F36 is nothing for them.
One problem I had was both stations had tachs which read 3000 rpm exactly for both engines but the ensign sync up top said port engine was 200 RPM higher so I went with the trojan tachs and the engines never missed a beat.
I have not filled up to see what I burned in fuel yet but both gauges said I burned 1/4 tank for each side.
