I'm trying to pull-up the throttle assemble to install a switch for my electric seat project. I thought the 4 screws on the corners would let me lift the assembly out of the way. It appears that they are machine bolts and are just turning. Now I can't tighten them back. What is the trick to the removal?

On the mid cabin, I had to access the bolts from the other side for the reason you stated. Nuts/washers on the backside.

Is the best way through the AC-DC breaker box?

Not sure on the Express... Harris will know or maybe one of the other Express guys.

lets see if I remember........

shifters on the port side: access through the three switch panel for cockpit & engine room lights. ( on mine I have a larger cutout for the non-factory battery charger panel which is easier)

Throttles on the stbd side: I would try access via the flat cover access panel under the gunnel on the stbd side. This will probably require one person standing at the helm and another under unless you are rubber band man.

While you have this panel off it's a good time to clean it and paint it white, as the original plastic tends to yellow as do the electric door covers, and the moulding behind the cabin pull out drawers.

removing these items (or masking them) and use of the proper paint (Rustoleoum for plastic) makes a noticeable difference in appearance.

Thanks for everybody's help. I was able to grip a wrench with needle nose vise grips and go in the cutout for my trip tab switch and tighten the loose bolt. I'm leaving the throttle alone and using the trim tab opening to fish my wire for the seat switch.
