Hi all.....

I had mentioned that I was close to finishing my dinette table. Pretty much done save the drawer faces and pulls (waiting for the pulls) but its close enough to complete to give you an idea of what I was looking for - more drawer space.

Also, a quick job of redoing the stock cupboard latches to give them a bit of a more modern look.

If anyone wants to do this, (dinette) the total cost was approx. $300, the bulk of the cost being the teak veneer and the printer drawer slides. My intention is to likely follow the same pattern for the galley counter this winter unless I go with a corian countertop - still haven't made up my mind.

Anyways, photo's attached
Started with four hand cut drawers 2x 8.5" x 12" and 2 12"x12" drawers

I like the dinette table, nice job---- I have been wanting to do something with ours as it is the butcher block look and does not have the rail around the edge either----- Thanks for the ideas--- Mike

Thanks guys....

If I might make a suggestion. The drawers I made are 3" deep. If i were to do this again I would have made the drawers 2" deep. I think it would have looked better. Ah well......lessons learned LOL
