I agree we need to refine who, where, when and preferences for marina or on the hook. Lets see if we can get some consensus on this.

We are available only on Monday July 21 or the 28th for the week. Coming from Lagoon City either to GB or Pete, and in between. Would prefer on the hook.

Weeks of July 28 and Aug 4. Massasauga Park Georgian Bay ( approx. 2.5 hrs north of Penetang) NOTE: For those who prefer to tie to a dock Henry's Restaurant is a short dingy ride away with over night docking.

Massasauga Park Georgian Bay would be a great choice i have spent the weekend there before and loved it. There are many great little bays to drop a hook and there are docks at Henry's figure out a date i'm in.

Let's go with mid week of the 28th July as this allows w/e before and the long weekend after as travel days for those coming from afar?

Some good side trips can be done like a dinghy run to Moon River falls and Henry's restaurant for a good fish dinner..... For the real adventurous and high powered dinghy so the longer run to Craiganmoor for the best wings on the bay is also worth it.
I'll post pictures of those other trips later when I'm on my PC.

Yup ,we are going to do something---- that week of the 28th seems to be what has been offered so far, with Jimbo offering the marina here in Penetang as the initial meeting place if needed---- I guess it is just a little early to go much further as there are many Trojan owners up here that don't see this forum---- so we shall see--hope to see you on the bay---- Mike

Yes, we are going to do it. I suggest those of us who will arrive in Southern Georgian Bay from the Trent-Severn and those In the area,(by boat or car) meet up at Bay Moorings the afternoon before heading north. I have lots of dock space and we could have a BBQ and skippers briefing that evening at our gazebo and boaters lounge. Head out in the morning for Massasauga.

Looks like we need some of the distant travelers to give EDA's..... Dates of arrival at Port Rawson.

From Port Severn lock it is 46 SMiles by small craft route to the anchorage and 44 SMiles if one goes outside off Giants Tomb where you can be on plane all the time! Weather permitting of course.
We can plan for the main raft to be Tue 29 July to Thurs 31st which will give the weekend before and after(long w/e Civic) as multiple travel days.
I will likely be there for the whole period July 25th to August 5th......

Let's get some names and EDA dates down......

I agree with Mike, that there are probably many who are not on this forum. There are 4 other Trojans in our marina and at least an F-32 in Beacon Bay who may or may not be "in the loop". They may not be aware of what is brewing until a poster shows up in the washrooms or bulletin board. ( When ever this snow melts. ) So we may have some more participants added come May or June.

Looking for 30 to 40 and have 6 or 7 will still be worth it. Lets go with July 28 / Jul 29 as the focus time.
