Question On Plank vs Rolled Vinyl Teak and Holly Flooring

I am looking to install vinyl teak and holly flooring in the salon and the galley of my F 44. I have been doing some research on the rolled vinyl product from PlasTeak versus a vinyl plank type of product from maybe Amtico. Does anyone have any experience with either of these types of products? Some people I am talking to our saying to go with the rolled vinyl and some people I am talking to are saying to go with the vinyl planks for their easier to install. Either way I will more than likely have a flooring contractor install them. I was curious if anyone had opinions on ease of installation, how it looks compared to real wood flooring, durability etc. Any opinions or shared experiences would be sincerely appreciated.

If you're paying someone else to do it go for the real stuff. Vinyl is Vinyl no matter how you look at it.... When you see the real T&H they just don't compare.
My buddy put the sheet in his boat and it still looks like Vinyl to me.........
If you can afford the real thing then go that way..... It really impresses.
My President has real wood and every time I think about new carpeting for the F32 I can't stop thinking how good T&H floors would look...... So I still have old carpet till I get the $$ together for WOOD. :)

Personally, I would not go with vinyl. When it gets wet, it will be very slippery.

Someone spills a cocktail which happens, someone is going to get hurt.

With an F44, I would go with wood flooring. Lots of products out there for not a lot of money and easy installation.
