Does anybody know anything about Steyr diesels? A pair of M16 M0246K41 are available locally for $16k. They are reported to be recent factory rebuilds after a recall. Supposedly 240hp each.

I know nothing about them, and wonder if anyone else might know something.

Some folks love them others hate them . They are very unique for sure , never have to replace a head gasket anyway . I am not a fan and would past , are you a member of boatdiesel ? If not I would join . And read up on theses .


for those of you that wonder about my head gasket comment , its because there it no head so to speak of . Its part of the block
