I own a trojan 33' sedan 1986, and I have a concern that some one has changed the props with smaller size... curently I have 18x21 on a 1.1/4" shaft... Boat has 2- 454 crusaders with velvet drive ratio 1.91.1... is there any body know the original size of the props this boat must have?

Thanks
Vassi

there is a difference between the original hulls and the mid cabin based hulls.

Does your engine room have a liner?

How many portlights per each side ?

Two large opening hatches or one and two non-opening lites?

That will be a start

Has two large openings hatches "port stbd" and a small one on the midle, don't know what you meant if engine room has a liner?

we need to first determine which hull you have.

The original or the mid cabin

The difference in props is significant as the mid cabin based version has the engines farther aft.

This results in a steeper shaft angle and utilizes a smaller prop spinning at a different gear ratio than the original series did.
