Good morning. I purchased the "PEDDLER" an F-32 in Sept. of 2013. Sold my F-26 to friends. Love these boats.
Anyway,the wording on the capacity plate on the lower helm in the sedan has been rubbed clean except the black border.
Would anyone happen to have a photo or know the exact wording on the F-32 Model 321 capacity plate,
or at least have the capacity numbers so that I can add them to my records. I assume the helm plate is where the cap. plate is located.
If you can help it would be appreciated.

on our 78 there is a plate there between the helm and the tab switches-----I have a photo but can't read wording,but as i remember it is a notice and warning-----there is another in the electric cabinet below----cant get within 30 ft due to snow but maybe by the wkend we can get in----Mike

Capacity plates are not required on a 32' boat. Most manufacturers do not put them on larger boats, but they are allowed to put them on. On my boat the plate near the helm talks about running the bilge blower before starting the engine. That warning is required at each helm that can start the engine(s). A very general formula for capacity is length times beam and then divide by 15. However, I would not use that formula as a safe loading for any of my boats. On an F32 it works out to 27 people... I would never take 27 people on my F32. There was a case a couple of years ago of a 34' boat, maybe a Silverton, that capsized during a 4th of July fireworks show due to overloading. They had about that many people onboard. My 22' Triumph has a capacity plate that states 10 people, using the basic formula works out to 12 people. I have to abide by the plate and never carry more than 10. I would never even carry 10 because you would not have room to move around on the boat. On the F32 I think that 8 to 10 people would be a reasonable number of people, but opinions vary...

I have had 17 people (myself and wife included) on my F32 when we hosted my sister's wedding aboard. I will never take that many people again. I made sure people were distributed around the boat (4 of us on the fly bridge, 4-5 in the cockpit, 4 in the salon, and 4 in the lower cabin at the dinette). I never travelled any more than 1500 rpm / 8 knots, but the boat was noticeably more sluggish, didn't respond well to the wheel, and close quarters maneuvering was real fun! It was sitting almost 6" lower in the water.

The only time I let people freely move about the boat is when it was tied to the dock, and when we are sitting at anchor for the ceremony, and even then I limited the number of people allowed on the flybridge.
