Just starting to get my boat ready.

Hey- Prowlerfish.
Long time no talkie.
It's a 1978 36' convertable sedan. twin 330 hp engines.I put the props on yesterday that came back and they look beautiful.
I am so excited about the new year. Weather here in upper western New York stunk this year. Everybody is excited. The outside of the boat looks like a new boat with all the cleaning and buffing last year before storage. I still have to get down on my hands and knees and scrub the upper deck floor. Launch day for me is around the 12th of may. Everywhere around here people are removing canvas and getting the boats ready.
I want to put all new floor rugs and side curtains in and all new furniture.

I will post pics when they start to haul her out.
I never got to put a canvas on the back and was leaning towards-just an overhang over the rear deck. I have seen and like them better.
I can feel my charge card heating up in my pocket right now as I write this.
The only problem here is my boat was stored inside and the yacht club has not finished some of their docks yet and is slowing everything up.
Some boats that are stored inside with mine rent from the yacht club.

Try beacon marine to see if he has anymore , they had to be custom made and not cheap . They are a Trojan only part and only fit the early F32 and F36 so not easy to come by.

Right! I can't understand why he sold it to me so cheap? He runs the Marina next to Shumway where I keep my boat.
Maybe it's because I stored my other boat with him a few years ago. Still he could have asked for a lot more.
I went by the boat today and looked at that F36 and saw that it had all the vents on it so he must have taken from the shed the boat was in.
I know I saw him come from the boat when he gave it to me.
I also found this ad for a vent $125 but he said the ad was old?-I didn't see any date on it.

You know whenI bought this boat I thought I would just try it and not sink to much into her and if everyone liked it -I would sell her and get a newer, bigger boat.
This boat still looks beautiful-she will hold her own with all the other boats and better than a lot of them. I'm going to re-carpet her.
All the buffing and polishing really made her outside look new. I'm having Shumway touch up some spots on the gelcoat.
