initial cost
+repairs
+upgrades
+surprises
+maintenance
+room + board
= total investment
actual selling price
- total investment
= gross profit
gross profit divided by time investment = hourly wage
none of these include RISK

Hey Paul,
Hope all is well. A 1979 F32 That is functional and no problems is $13,100-$14,900 (Buc Book ) Now subtract the engine cost, Fg repair and other problems to get the price.
Hope this helps
Thanks Butch

Paul,
Love my F32 (and your F36), but blown gasoline engine boats aren't terribly valuable. I'd guess $5-8k in average condition with bad gas engines.
Love to see one with a single 450HP diesel in the middle - 1.5mpg ICW cruiser ... could be cool.
Good luck!

Honsetly I am suprized it would be worth that much as a fixer upper . But that why I asked . I guess the seller's goals are realistic .

not really worth a dollar unless you want to repair for yourself and know what you have. Boat is only worth 8 to 10k in good shape, add 1800 for a reman motor, time to change, labor, manifolds? surprises, storage etc

Paid well under $10,000 for a running Silverton 34C that only needed to be brought back up to snuff from a few years of no real use. I looked at enough $10,000 ones that were runners but sound about as you described condition wise. Sadly this market isn't strong, good for buyers, bad for owners.
