Hi All,
I am thinking about buying a Trojan 12 meter Express! (very happy about it as it is my dream boat) And had a few questions! First off how many did they build? How big is the fuel tank?
Best Regards,
Sam

I didn't see an answer to this question, but I'm about to buy a 1990 12 M with diesels. The boat originally had gas but owner had Detroits installed.
I'm curious to see how many were made.

I'm not sure how many were built. They were more expensive and less popular than the 10 and 10.8 convertible. They are a great boat. They came from the factory with Detroit's as an option. The 6v92 with 485 HP engines was suppose to be one of the fastest Internationals produced. I think the 1990 was an updated model. If it has gates in lieu of doors, you have the newer model. Trojan was sold to Carver by Summer of '92, and boat sales were down due to a luxury tax, so I doubt many 12 meters were sold in the early 90's.
Good luck with your decision.

There is a 12 meter dcmy for sale in the Anapolis area on Boat trader. It took on water but the price is 1/4 of what others are going for.

Well I bought it! I'm now a Trojan owner. 1990 Trojan 12M International. Has DD 375 TA's with 550 hours. Passed the survey with pretty good grades.
Motors ran at 2550 RPM at about 27 knots.
Let the fun begin!! Coming from a 31 Silverton Convertibe with 4 kids, this is a BEAST!

Congrats on the new boat ! Question on the engines Detroit Diesel 375 TA ? Most DD n the 12 meter where 671ti or TIB 450HP or 485HP and 6v92 @550hp . They also used the 3208 Cat 375hp . All good engines .

This originally had gas motors. Owner put in these about 6 years ago. Which reminds me I need to modify the fuel fill caps because they still say "gas".
