Prop Dimensions

15 x 11 is stamped on the hub of my prop, but when I had it reconditioned by Atlantis Propeller they listed the diameter as 14.5. Is the actual diameter typically less than the stamped diameter? I have a backup 15 x 11 which also seems to be 14.5 inches for actual diameter, so I guess this is normal. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
FYI, Atlantis Propeller does a prop scan before and after they recondition the prop. Even though my prop did not look too bad, the numbers on the before scan were pretty ugly. 1 blade was over pitched and the other 2 blades were under pitched. The "b" value was 78% and the "c" value was 33% (out of 100%). After being reconditioned, all three blades are pitched to 11.000 and the "b" and "c" values are both 100%. I'm looking forward to running the boat this season and seeing how much smoother it will be. Atlantis also says I should have a lower fuel burn, so that should be a plus also. I'll post this Summer once I have a chance to test the boat and get some numbers.
