Reconditioned Prop

This past winter I had my prop reconditioned. The prop shop I used did a prop scan before and after. My blades were pretty out of whack before the reconditioning. I launched the boat this past weekend. I noticed the boat ran much smoother (much less vibration) and was much quieter. The prop reconditioning was worth every penny. The only thing I didn't see was an increase in speed. My cruising speed is the same as before. I thought I might get a 1 - 2 mph increase from a more efficient prop, but I didn't see it. Still, two out of three wasn't bad.

If the pitch was left the same I would think about the same performance. Prop man can move the prop up to 2 inches in pitch either way upon order of customer.
