Thought you guys might enjoy this. My sister has been researching our family history.
So, this is a house built in the 1700s by one of our Pote ancestors. Stubborn-assed dude sawed the home into three parts and moved it to another town after the town it was originally built in tried to tax him for sailing his ship on the Sabbath.
Poor guy got taxed for working on Sunday, I'd be screwed! Stubbornness is apparently a family trait!!! LOL

Some of you wonder what this has to do with Trojan boats , well I have some inside info.

Some years ago Todd had this Trojan . Well he got this tax bill for he shinny new ( to him Trojan ) Well Todd would have none of that , and thought the boat tax should be much less . With that the Taxman said he would take a look . So Todd following he great family tradition and took it all apart . And showed the Taxman his bucket of bolts ,The rest is history and can be found on his restore thread . And you thought he did the restore for fun :mrgreen:
