10. Take the platform outside, and give it a good scrubbing with TSC or good detergent soap. Very important to remove the Amine Blush from the epoxy coating. Do not try to sand it off.... It will only cause issues. I scrubbed with soap and scothbright pad. Then wiped off after it was dry with acetone to remove any remaining blush. Then sand the epoxy with 220 grit to give the primer some teeth to grab
11. Now use a heat gun to slowely heat up the bumper rail and bend to form on the platform
12. Put on two coats of precoat primer and sand between coats. Just follow the directions. If you are putting anti slip in the paint, dont worry about blemishes, if you do have some you want to fill, do this with bondo before prime. I put on one coat of paint, let it dry, then taped off 1-1/2" edging and then painted the center area, and sprinkled on the anti skid using a cheese shaker. Once this was complete, i let it dry for about 1/2 hr and peeled the tape off while still tacky. Then put two coats of paint over all of it. Then repeat on the bottom without the anti skid. DONE
Ready to mount
