I am thinking it would be great to have a generator on board for AC... on my 1977 F30 Express...
I was thinking of putting it on the Swim platform which i do not use...

Has anyone done this?
What has your experience been?

Not a big fan of it but the reality is that it's becoming very popular. Honda makes some nice ones, efficient and very quiet. Just don't store it or a fuel tank in the engine compartment as I see all the time.
