Re: Selling our beloved Trojan F32 with twin Cummins 6BTAs

Seems the market has swung over to smaller, mostly day boats with 4 stroke outboards. Even bigger vessels are trending toward multiple 4 stroke outboards today. in comparison, boats like ours require tremendous ongoing maintenance. Boats of our VINTAGE require a knowledgeable owner who has the willi...

Re: 12 Meter Exhaust Pipe Cracked

Dish soap is a great tool to keep on board. I also have a set of multi angled probes that can be manipulated better than a saw blade to remove hoses that have been on for ages with little or no damage. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0079GPYR2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Glad ...

Re: 10 meter mid cabin bilge

express hull experience here i'm on a boat lift behind the house once a year or so I remove the aft transom hull plug and flush clean water and DAWN soap from the fwd bilge all the way out that plug REmoves some trash ang junk as well perhaps if you are hauled once a year, this could be done too. Re: Selling our beloved Trojan F32 with twin Cummins 6BTAs

You have been a part of the "OLD GUARD" here for a long time.

So sorry to hear of your situation

My wife is also battling cancer with Multiple Myleoma since 2010

Changed our intended boat use as well - we never did those long, extended trips we had planned

Best of luck to you both.

Re: What boat fridge do you use?

You should have posted this in the boat section , maybe the mod will move it . I would Not use a propane fridge on a boat as its not safe . A AC/DC may be the best choice . But when on DC it will be a drain on the batteries so you need a way to keep them charged . I used a AC only my self . I of co...

Perhaps the distributor is not installed correctly

as in

the rotor is not pointing in the correct spot at TDC compression #1 cylinder
