Hello from SC
Hello. Been away from a while. Busy with work and the market.
How's everyone? Ready for some boating? We're going this weekend. The water is starting to warm, and the trout will be biting soon. Its been 3 weeks since I've been out ... looking forward to it.
Got to clean my bottom ... new trim tab switch on my 26 ... new LED nav lights on the 26, 18 and 14 ... oil changes all around ... its going to be busy!
Cheers!

Howdy Capt Ross!
We're here in Selma, NC on our way (car, no boat) to Savannah for a few days then back up to Charleston for a few days then Pawleys Island for a LOT of days, then hopefully the snow is melted in upstate NY when we get back early April.
The mighty Blue Heron will be in the wawa mid April if the ice melts enough - sporting a sweeet new anchor platform that I worked on this winter at home.
If you see 2 yankees wandering around aimlessly in downtown Charleston it's us!

Howdy from Ohio. Crappy, crappy winter. Tired of sitting in the dark in the basement, drinking Johnny Walker, playing with my handguns, while dreaming about midget Jell-O wrestling [kidding, please don't send the rubber van again]. Collecting parts for spring commissioning. Bought a stainless steel delta anchor, [ebay] to go with the new winlass. Still cruising eBay daily for a used radar arch. Numerous other minor projects on the go. Waiting for Obama to fix health-care.
Busy as heck at work... thank God for all that illness and suffering to almost pay for my kids cell phone habits, my wife's vast supply of battery operated personal appliances [for when I'm in the basement...
], Cavs tickets, and my boating addiction...
Planning a two week cruise to Lake Huron's North Channel/Georgian Bay late June. can't wait... Had a ball two summers ago on the last trip...
a day without boating ...sucks

Top of the morning to everyone!
Weather is turning nice now - kill 2 bees and 4 wasps yesterday at the boat helm - good sign.
Hope to get my bum cleaned this w/e. My diver took a winter job, but his wife said she'd get him out here Sat.
Had a few drinks with friends on the boat watching the sunset. Boy, do I need to varnish wood and repaint my topsides. Amazing how much work boats can be. Stopped at the City Marina Sunday and there was a unbelievable 200+ foot sail boat (sleek and new) there They had several guys working on cleaning, varnish, etc. Its non-stop ...
