hey gang, sorry for being absent for the past few days, maybe weeks. i've been flying some really long trips with reduced rest (10.5hrs) overnights. this past saturday, the 2nd., i received some pretty rattling 'domestic' news. i would prefer to keep it out of the forum so i would appreciate those concerned send me a private message. of course, you can always reach me via email. let's just say that i will be piloting ENTERPRISE solo. nuff said. hopefully i can make the numbers work, if you catch my subtle drift. i just wanted to let my pals on here know that i'm alive, but it's just a lot to digest in a short amount of time.
respectfully.

Re: AARON UPDATE....
I knew something was wrong, there was a thread on underwater exhausts and there wasn't a peep from you. LOL.

Re: AARON UPDATE....
ahhhhh, no fear. i was watching it in the back ground w/ out signing on. i'm gobsmacked at perry's work on it and was proud to actually see happen from removal to partial reinstallation. how can i add to the thread other than say, man, i wish could do it. it might be a moot point though. but, i do have plans on replacing the exhaust hoses on the starboard engine. john, my mechanic, gave some great pointers at how to remove (from the concentrator first as it's weaker) and reinstall (from riser then work to elbow then work to concentrator) he also suggested using dish soap on the inside of the hose to ease it onto the parts.summer storm wrote:I knew something was wrong, there was a thread on underwater exhausts and there wasn't a peep from you. so, we shall see. i'm stoked to try it. now, i'm heading to bed, 0400 comes awfully early.

Re: AARON UPDATE....
train wrecks are can be handled quickly,
the debris cleared,
and the tracks repaired.
with the proper care and attention,
the trains will run again.
Just choose a better engine and move on with your manifest & schedule.
For you my friend, a kosher nautical engine might work better.
