I recently moved a 25' trojan marlin on a 3 axil trailer from the florida keys to Michigan without any problems. Make shure your trailer is rated for the weight you are going to be pulling. make shure you inspect /replace/repack the bearings and races before your trip and I would take along a hub kit or 2 and all the tools and jacks you would need to do roadside repairs

I keep my f24 on a trailer and it tows quite nice, however weight seems to go exponentialy with lenghth so, as long as your truck and trailer are up to it its no sweat! There's a 26 ft searay just down the road from me on a 2 axle trailer and it looks comfortable. I'm sure yours will too.

I trailer my Trojan F26 a couple of times a year and when I purchsed it I hauled it from Northern Michigan to St louis with out any problems. The only concern that you might have is the rudder hangs low. So I remove mine when I trailer it, Here is a link to pictures of my boat on the trailer. http://webpages.charter.net/hardyw38/

I'm currently paying $300 per month on berth fees for my F26 that I very seldom use so I'd like to pick up a trailer for her and was wondering if I should go with a double or triple axle. How difficult is it to remove the rudder? Since the beam is 10' will I need a permit for transport? I'm located in CA.

Thank You!

I have my 26 on a triple axle trailer. I think the weight is about 6500lbs with some gear on the boat.
