Does anyone know of any links or location of footage of a 10 meter underway? I have yet to find one on You Tube . Im interested to see the attitude of the boat, and what it looks like at cruise.
A while back I was out a full throttle (not with my Trojan) and looked behind me and there was a helicopter following me. I thought that strange especially since there was a guy hanging out the side taking video. Turns out the next month a received a package in the mail with beautiful snapshots and a short clip of my boat underway. It was pretty cool. Its a company that does this and tries to sell them , I guess finding out where you live with your reg numbers.

Boatpix. They captured me underway some years ago and notified me. They are expensive. They sent me proofs but I was not impressed with certain shots so I declined. Others have gotten good shots and pics though.

here you go:

http://www.usboattest.com/test/604/1987 ... cabin.html

keep in mind this is a midcabin

smaller props spinning faster

engines and genny placed much farther aft than the express and early convertible hulls

don't know what if any difference this would make on the running angle

I DO KNOW that while I still had the gas engines, changing the trim tabs made a tremendous difference in lower speed running angle, allowing me to average over .8nmpg at 15 kts - nearly 1 statute mile per gallon

That was pretty cool RWS looks just like my mid cabin with the full camper canvas, wet bar and seating, my Trojan runs like that to a little bow high I run a lot of tab to keep the bow down, performance numbers were close to.

very cool RWS,, you always come through
great video, Man I wish my boat had the original stripes on the hull , I love that And was the arch standard?? Mine does not have it, as I have a tower on my boat, I always liked that arch as well, my Sea Ray has it as well.

I gotta say, I like the layout of my express much better than the mid cabin
still an awesome boat.
i had mine out the other day and for the first time I opened it up. My numbers were pretty close to the ones in the vid. I didnt feel mine was high in the bow on plane. I was impressed. She moves pretty good for a big sled. This boat handles outstanding and I have operated many other boats and have had three Trojans so far and this one is tops on my list. This is my first boat with 454 engines and man they have some guts. The only complaint I have, and this holds true for most large cruisers is the fuel consumption on the big blocks,
you need a couple of hundred bucks every time you go out,,,lol but thats boating isnt it?
again , thanks so much for that video, its groovy
any body else have any vids , post em I would love to see em
